I know, I know. Two posts on the same day? Is that against some rule of blogging? I don't care. I'm a rebel. Today was a little jacked up since my window closed on me when I was running a CrossFit class. So, it's about 9:00 PM & I'm about to eat something. Not sure what. I'll just break my fast later tomorrow. Oh, and I'm not obsessed w/Clare Danes, she just happened to be on that cheesy teen angst show "My So Called Life". Get it? This is "My So Called IF Life". No? My wife doesn't think I'm funny either.

Day 2

Broke my fast at 12:10

2 eggs (scrambled)
2 pieces of bacon
2 pieces of sausage
2 slices of wheat toast

1:30 Zone Bar
3 fish oil tabs

4:00 Zone Bar

6:30 1/4 of a rotisserie chicken
pasta salad
apple
4 fish oil tabs

Finished all food before 7:30. I'll keep my window approximately 7 to 7.5 hours this week.

After I digested for an hour or so, I went out to the garage & banged out some Deadlifts. Worked up to a triple w/405.

Day One

We're all busy. Busy isn't an excuse, but, I will use it. I have 2 little girls at home & it isn't always easy for me to measure & weigh foods for a serious go at the Zone diet which is CrossFit's (www.crossfit.com) party line. I've decided to us the Intermittent Fasting approach. Right now (day 1) I'm starting with a 16 hour fast & will slowly increase that fasted time. I've seen some soft core IF'ers that pretty much eat what they want during their allotted time, but I will try to keep it pretty clean & free of high-glycemic carbs.

So far today, (it's 11:30 AM) I've had enough coffee to drown a village of Pygmies. I'll post what I ate today tomorrow.
